I'm so glad that you enjoy netball!! It's a super sport. I know that my daughter Rachel has enjoyed playing in an adult netball league in Auckland over the past few years. What fun!
We don't play netball here in Canada. Our closest sport is basketball which is very popular with boys and girls. There are many teams both at school and in the community and even adults continue to play in the evenings and on weekends. When I was growing up in Toronto my dad put up a basketball hoop in our back yard so that we could play every day. It was a lot of fun!
We also played baseball out on the street in front of our house with all of the kids in the neighbourhood. Now most of the children in our small town prefer to play soccer. It's by far the most popular summer sport here.

That is a really cool looking netball, Sharon. Where did you get it from? I love the colour of it. It's so bright and cheery! I used to play basketball when I lived in Canada but we never had coloured basketballs. They were always a really bland, brown colour :(
I hope that you had the chance to play netball this holiday. I've been practicing my shooting recently because I joined a social netball team. I'm not very good at it because I keep on trying to dribble the ball, like a basketball. Oops! I'll have to keep on practicing, I think...
